Celebrating Excellence: Congratulations to Aria & Cbus on Their Outstanding Achievement!
We’re thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Aria Property Group and Cbus Property for their remarkable success at the recent Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Conference in London! Last week, two of their stunning residential developments, Upper House and 443 Queen St, were honored with two Awards of Excellence each, standing out among a field of innovative projects from around the globe.
Upper House triumphed in the categories of Best Tall Building by Height (100-199m) and the prestigious Space Within Award. Its architectural brilliance and thoughtful design have truly captured the essence of modern living. The project, featuring a striking three-level timber rooftop pergola inspired by the iconic Moreton Bay fig, showcases how nature can seamlessly blend with urban life.
Meanwhile, 443 Queen St, developed by Cbus Property, also received well-deserved recognition, securing an Award of Excellence in the Best Tall Building by Region Oceania category and the Best Tall Building by Height (100-199m). These achievements highlight the exceptional quality and innovative spirit of Brisbane’s architectural landscape.
Michael Hurley, Aria’s Development Director, aptly remarked on the significance of this achievement for a small private developer from Brisbane. To compete against and prevail over projects from renowned global cities like Singapore, South Korea, and Italy is a testament to the dedication and talent within the Queensland development community.
