Mackay Marina wanted more than a standard walkway mat. Their busy marina needed a solution that could handle harsh coastal conditions while keeping the space safe and appealing. 

The Mat Group worked closely with the team to design a custom, high-performance mat that would protect the walkway, showcase their brand, and withstand daily foot traffic in a challenging environment.

PROJECT NEED: 

Mackay Marina required a long-lasting mat that fit the full 30 m walkway. The marina’s walkway faces constant sun, salt and moisture which made durability a concern. There were no existing mats, so heavy foot traffic from staff and visitors threatened to accelerate wear.

OUR SOLUTION:

The Mat Group provided a custom SpiralLoop Inlay Logo Mat (unbacked). 

Its unbacked design allows water and debris to pass through. The UV-stable materials retain colour, and the anti-slip surface improves safety. Likewise, the inlay logo ensured the marina’s branding was clear and continuous along the walkway.
