The property required a tailored commercial matting solution across multiple entries and wet area circulation zones to improve safety, durability and visual consistency.
Working closely with the client over an extended period, The Mat Group developed a solution that balanced performance requirements with the hotel’s luxury design standards.
PROJECT NEED:
The hotel required replacement matting at the main entrance and concierge desk, along with additional slip resistant solutions for pool entry airlocks and high traffic walkways.
Key requirements included managing water ingress and improving safety in wet and barefoot traffic areas, while maintaining the hotel’s premium aesthetic throughout all entry points.
OUR SOLUTION:
The Mat Group supplied Commercial PrintPlush entry mats designed to precisely fit the entrance and concierge areas, delivering a premium finish.
In the rooftop wellness areas, Superguard in Black and Natural Beige was installed across the pool airlocks and walkway to the steam room. This provided a durable, slip resistant solution that blends seamlessly with the hotel’s interior.
To support ongoing wet weather management, custom branded umbrella dryers were installed at key entry points to reduce water tracking through the building and maintain a well-presented guest environment.
THE IMPACT:
Safety and water management were improved across key entry and wet area zones, particularly around the rooftop wellness precinct. Entry points now deliver a more refined and consistent presentation aligned with the hotel’s premium standards.
