Hospitality Entrance Mats

Properly specified and installed entrance matting effectively removes excess dirt and moisture from footwear and wheeled traffic. It also provides a safe walking surface to help prevent slips and trips. Moreover, ensuring that entrances are accessible and safe for everyone is essential for creating a welcoming and functional environment. Check out our Entrance mats range.

The ideal size for a doormat depends on the dimensions of your doorway. Since even standard doors can have slight variations, it's wise to measure your entryway to determine the appropriate size.

Here are some tips for measuring your doormat. Ensure the mat size covers at least 80% of your doorway's width and your doors have enough clearance to avoid them getting stuck on the mat. We offer a wide range of standard door mat sizes to assist with different entrances.

At The Mat Group we also specialise in Made To Measure mats. We offer entrance door mats that can be purchased cut-to-size for a specific space or by the metre or roll.

Polyester and polypropylene doormats are well-suited for various weather conditions and perform reliably in high-traffic areas. They are less prone to fading compared to cotton and typically feature non-slip backing, enhancing their durability.

Dark shades such as black, navy blue, or forest green are effective at masking dirt. In contrast, solid colours tend to reveal dirt and signs of wear more quickly than multi-coloured designs. For areas affected by ice and snow, choosing a mat with a mix of black and grey can be particularly useful, as it helps to hide stains and keeps the mat looking cleaner for longer.

For all of our mats we specify the colour options. Our Entrance Mats mainly come in black or charcoal/grey and our Logo Mats all have colour charts provided.
